Any lesson can carry a spoken version of itself. You generate it once from the editor, and students get a player at the top of the lesson with play, scrub, and speed controls. Pick one of the catalog voices, or record a short sample and have every lesson read in your own voice.

Generate audio for a lesson

Open the lesson

Go to Courses, open the course, and select the lesson. The lesson action bar above the editor holds Generate Audio, next to Add video.

Pick a voice

Open the voice picker. Voices are grouped under Your voice (once you have cloned one), Female, and Male. Click a voice to hear a short sample; click it again to stop.

Generate

Choose Generate Audio. Generation runs in the background and the action bar shows progress. You can keep editing meanwhile.

Publish

The audio ships with the lesson. Publish the lesson as usual and the player appears for students.
Once audio exists, the same control offers Regenerate (for example after you edit the text, or to switch voice) and Remove audio. If you edit the lesson after generating, an Update audio button appears so you can bring the narration back in line. Switching to a different voice in the picker regenerates with that voice. Fayne remembers your last-used voice in your browser, so a plain click on Generate Audio uses it.
Audio is generated from the lesson text at that moment. If you change the lesson afterwards, regenerate so the narration matches. Quiz and knowledge-check blocks, widgets, images, video, embeds, diagrams, code, tables, and file downloads are skipped. Flashcards, pros and cons, blurbs, stat highlights, and callouts are read aloud.

Clone your voice

A cloned voice reads your lessons the way you would. It is tied to your owner account, so it is available in every academy you run.

Open the clone dialog

In the voice picker, choose Clone your voice.

Record a sample

Read the on-screen passage in your natural speaking voice, with the best microphone you have. The recording needs at least 10 seconds; about 30 seconds is enough, and it stops automatically at 90 seconds. Allow microphone access when your browser asks.

Listen and save

Fayne builds the voice and plays a preview. If it sounds like you, choose Save voice; otherwise record again. Your voice then appears under Your voice in every picker.
You can replace your cloned voice at any time by opening the dialog again. Regenerate any lessons you want read in the new version.
Voice cloning is available on paid plans (Starter, Pro, and Scale). During the free preview the menu item shows an Upgrade label. Catalog voices work on every plan.

What students see

When a published lesson has audio, a compact player sits above the lesson content with play and pause, a scrubber, and a speed toggle (1x, 1.25x, 1.5x, 2x). The chosen speed is remembered on the student’s device. Listening does not mark the lesson complete; reading to the end or moving to the next lesson does, as always.
