The brief

The company, and what it needed.

Who they are

Papercrane is an AI training firm in Rotterdam. It deploys one programme, AI at Work, into client companies, in each client's name, and runs it alongside short live kick-offs.

The problem

A company buys an AI assistant for everyone and runs one webinar. A month later hardly anyone uses it, because nobody showed the team where it fits in their own Tuesday.

What they asked for

A programme each client can run for its own operations team, with practice on the tasks people already do and plain words on what to check before anything goes out.

The programme

One course open, the rest on the shelf.

The flagship course is open to anyone. The other five are locked, with real titles, so it reads as the programme it would be.

The tour

Five moments from the academy.

What a learner sees, then what the owner sees. The practice below works: try it.

  1. 1The video

One move per film, in paper cut-outs

Each short film opens on a real task from an ops week and ends on one move to use next time. Cobalt is what the tool does; highlighter yellow is what a person decides. Captions throughout.

  2. 2Practice

    Automate or not?

Three tasks from one ordinary week, and one question for each: if this is wrong, who notices, and what does it cost? Try the first call yourself.

    Make the calls

    Automate or not?

Every Thursday you send three key customers a short note on which of their deliveries are running late, copied from the tracking sheet. By hand it takes forty-five minutes. What do you hand to the tool?

A one-step version of the scenario from the sample academy. In the academy it runs through to an ending, and the owner sees which calls people make.

  3. 3The tutor

    A coach in Papercrane's voice

The tutor answers from the course and points policy questions to the client's own AI policy. These are exchanges written for the sample academy.

    Papercrane Coach

Can I paste our customer list into the AI to clean up the duplicates?
Not as it is. Names, emails and phone numbers are personal details about customers, so swap them for placeholders or take them out, and use the tool your company approved. For duplicates it can often work from company names and account numbers alone. Not sure it's allowed? Check your company's AI policy, or don't paste.

  4. 4The certificate

    Proof for the client

Each person finishes with a certificate in Papercrane's name, with a link the client's managers can open to check it.

  5. 5The owner's view

    Who is using it well

Papercrane sees where people hesitate, in plain words, and can bring the next kick-off to the right gap.

The owner side is Fayne's own app, so it wears Fayne's colours. The numbers are illustrative: this academy has no real learners yet.
