Use Gemini Notebook to Learn Anything

A stack of PDFs, talks and reports becomes a notebook that answers your questions with citations you can open, and then makes the thing you have to hand over.

Gemini Notebook, called NotebookLM until Google renamed it in July 2026, answers from material you choose. Most people paste a few links in, ask for a summary, read it and close the tab. They get a chatbot with better manners, and never open the half of the product that builds reports, decks, tables, audio, mind maps, quizzes and flashcards out of the same sources.

This course teaches the loop that makes it work. You scope a notebook to one question and load three kinds of source. You make the notebook draw the shape of the material before you read any of it, narrow the selection before you ask, open the citation behind anything you are about to repeat, and feed the answers worth keeping back into the sources. Then you pick the output by how it will be used. The last lessons mark the boundary: what the notebook is poor at, and what to use instead.

You walk away with one notebook carrying a real question, a briefing or deck made from it that somebody has used, and a quiz you have answered cold.
