Five automations and an agent work quietly for months. Then the person who built them leaves, a login expires, and the first sign is a customer asking why nobody called back.
Automations rarely fail loudly. Error emails go to whoever built each one, retries hold an alert back for hours, a renamed sheet tab leaves a trigger that finds nothing to do, and an agent takes forty steps where four would do until the plan runs out on the 22nd.
This course sets up the routine that catches all of it across Zapier, Make and n8n. You list everything that runs, rank each automation by what a stop costs, and give each one owner and a business login. You send every tool's errors to one channel, write down each automation's normal run count so a silent stop shows up, read which automation uses the plan, put step limits on agents, and run a thirty-minute check every month. Every plan, limit and setting was checked against the vendors' own pages in October 2026.
You walk away with a list of every automation and agent with an owner for each, one alert channel the owners read, and a monthly check booked in the diary.
Who it's for
Owners running three or more automations: built them over time, and want to hear about a stop on the day it happens.
Operations and office managers: have inherited automations someone else built and need to know what each one does and whose login it runs on.
Anyone adding AI agents to the mix: want a cap on what each agent can spend before it runs on its own.
