The answer to most "where is that?" questions is already written down somewhere in your team's tools. An AI search can find it in seconds, but only in the tools it is connected to and only from files the person asking can open.

Rovo, Notion and Slack each now answer a plain question with links to the pages, messages and tickets the answer came from. Most teams switch one on, ask it once, get an answer from the wrong thread or no answer at all, and go back to asking in chat. The cause is usually one of four things: the plan, a source nobody connected, a vague question, or an answer that quoted a chat message when the signed document said something else.

This course takes those in order. It sets out which plan includes which search, and how far each one reaches, in one table. It covers connecting the tools and the wait before results appear, asking questions the search can answer and narrowing it when the answer mixes sources, and opening the source before an answer goes to a client. It finishes with permissions, what to check before connecting a folder, and picking one search as the team's front door. Every plan, connector and limit was checked against Atlassian's, Notion's and Slack's own pages in October 2026.

You practise along the way: explaining to a colleague why search "couldn't find it", aiming five vague searches, a client's renewal question with money attached, and three real questions from your own team.

Who it's for

Team leads: answering "where is that?" several times a day and want the team to ask the search first.

Small-business owners on Atlassian, Notion or Slack: paying for one of them already and unsure what its AI search reaches on your plan.

Operations people: responsible for the wiki, the drives and who can open what.
