Getting Started with Canva AI

Canva can now draft a whole post from one sentence. Whether that draft is usable depends on what you put in the sentence, and on what you check before it goes out.

Most people's first try is "make a post for our sale". What comes back looks fine and says nothing: no price, no date, a stock photo and a headline anyone could have written. Then they spend longer fixing it than they would have spent making it, and decide the AI is a toy.

This course starts with the sorting: the difference between Canva AI, which makes and edits whole designs, and the single tools in the editor, plus what your plan actually gives you each month. Then it teaches the brief that gets a usable first draft, and runs the everyday pieces end to end: a post refined by asking, its words rewritten with Magic Write, a photo fixed without a reshoot, and the same design in other sizes and another language. It finishes on the checks a business cannot skip: every number and name read by a person, what you may use commercially, and when a real person or brand needs permission. Every plan, limit and button was checked against Canva's own pages in October 2026.
