# Activity

> See recent student, purchase, and course activity across your academy.

Open **Activity** in the owner sidebar to see what is happening across your academy.

## What appears in Activity

The timeline can include:

* Student joined
* Student enrolled in a course
* Lesson completed
* Course completed
* Purchase or refund
* Certificate issued
* Offer granted

Events are grouped by **Today**, **Yesterday**, or date. Use the event filters to focus on one kind of activity, or choose **Show all**. Select **Load more** to view older events.

## Follow up with a student

Note the student's name, then open **People** and search for them. From their profile, review courses and activity, manage access, and resend a pending invitation when available.

## Activity and Insights

Use **Activity** for a chronological record of individual events. Use **Insights** for trends, totals, charts, and course comparisons over a selected date range.
