# Settings guide

> Find academy, account, billing, and notification settings.

Use **Settings** in the owner sidebar to manage the academy you are currently viewing and your Fayne account.

## Academy settings

| Section           | What you can manage                                              |
| ----------------- | ---------------------------------------------------------------- |
| **General**       | Academy name, publishing, and Open academy or Invite only access |
| **Domain**        | Your Fayne subdomain and custom domain                           |
| **Email Sending** | Sender name, reply-to address, and custom sending domain         |
| **API Keys**      | Keys for approved integrations                                   |
| **MCP server**    | Connect supported AI tools to this academy                       |
| **Payments**      | Stripe connection and payment settings                           |
| **Team**          | People who help manage this academy                              |

Academy settings apply only to the academy selected in the switcher.

## Account settings

| Section           | What you can manage                                      |
| ----------------- | -------------------------------------------------------- |
| **Account**       | Your name and account email                              |
| **Billing**       | Fayne plan, billing period, invoices, and payment method |
| **Referrals**     | Your referral link and rewards                           |
| **Notifications** | Product updates, weekly digest, and re-engagement nudges |

Changing your account email requires confirmation at the new address.

  Security messages, student invitations, sign-in codes, and purchase receipts are sent when needed even if optional notification preferences are off.
</Note>

## Delete an academy

The **Danger Zone** in Settings lets the academy owner permanently delete the selected academy. Fayne asks you to type the academy name before confirming.

  Deleting an academy removes its courses, students, progress, and settings. This cannot be undone.
</Warning>
