# Multiple academies

> Create, switch between, and organize more than one academy.

Scale plans can manage multiple academies from one Fayne account. Each academy has its own brand, domain, courses, students, settings, and team.

## Switch academies

1. Select the academy name at the top of the owner sidebar.
2. Choose another academy from the switcher.

The sidebar and dashboard update to the academy you selected. Before making a change, check the academy name at the top of the sidebar.

## Create another academy

1. Open the academy switcher.
2. Select **Create new academy**.
3. Enter the academy name.
4. Choose how to start:
   * **Start blank** creates an empty academy.
   * **Copy an academy** copies its branding and lets you select courses that came from the Explore Library.
5. Select **Create academy**.

  Copying an academy does not copy students, custom-built courses, or edits you made after adding a course from the Explore Library.

## Plan availability

| Pro     |         1 |
| Scale   | Unlimited |

If you are on Trial, Starter, or Pro, Fayne asks you to upgrade before creating another academy.

## Keep access separate

Students and team members belong to a specific academy. Adding someone to one academy does not add them to your other academies. Switch to the intended academy before you invite people, grant courses, connect a domain, or change branding.
